About Samuel Shatkin FIRST, LLC
We are pleased to introduce many new techniques which have been conceived after several years of placing mini dental implants for denture retention, single crown restorations, and crown and bridge reconstruction. The research has proven that the mini dental implant is not only an excellent choice for use with fixed restorations for single and multiple teeth replacement, but has better than 97% success rates over the past 6 years of use for these procedures. These outstanding results encouraged the development of methods where a dentist could place the mini implants and restore them with crown restorations in a single visit (usually in less than an hour). The method includes custom restorations made in a fully accredited and authorized laboratory using professionally trained and experienced dental laboratory technicians. It is actually quite simple for the dentist. All you need to do is take impressions (preferably full arch), a bite registration, a radiograph (preferably a panoramic), and a shade for the restoration(s) to be fabricated. You will forward this in an express mailer to Samuel Shatkin FIRST, L.L.C. Upon receipt of the package, your case will be personally reviewed and planned by Samuel Shatkin, DDS, MD. He will plan the placement locations using the x-ray and models as a guide. If he has any questions or concerns you will be promptly contacted to discuss the case. If there are no concerns the case will be designed and completed according to your prescription. You will receive the case back in a timely fashion with the finished restoration, a surgical placement guide template, a placement instruction sheet, along with your radiograph with the appropriate mini dental implants outlined in the locations where they are to be placed. If you request, these implants can be sent to you with your case. This system is designed to simplify the procedures you perform, to help treatment plan the case, and to provide the patient the convenience of an implant and crown in a single visit, thus saving the patient time and money. If the procedure is followed according to the protocol, any licensed dentist can perform this entire procedure easily. We do advise that you have appropriate training at an approved seminar or mini-residency on the proper protocol for mini dental implant placement. Training information is available by calling 1-888-4-SHATKIN ext. 121. Thank you for your interest in these techniques for immediate implant and crown restoration. We are convinced that it will change the way you practice dentistry for years to come, result in significant patient enhancement, and increase your practice income.

Sincerely,

Samuel Shatkin FIRST, LLC

†These statistics are based on placement of over 5000 mini implants over the past 7 years.
